Is it okay to only run once a week post C25K? I work full time 6 days a week and have discovered that I’m more motivated if I run in the mornings. Ironically I am not a morning person so can’t get up to run before work - id have to get up at 5:30am to be able to do this, due to this I find I can only run once a week! Once I return to uni I’ll be able to run more!

Run when you can, then. At Parkrun meets I met quite a few people who only ran that day. It takes a 2 week break to start losing fitness.
On the other hand, try an early run. Just the once. On run days I get up at 5.15 muttering “I really can’t do this” but I’m away at 6 and love it.

Hi Olivia, once a week is infinitely better than not going at all!
I am willing to make a prediction.... once you start, you will start craving the feeling of achievement you get after every run; therefore I reckon you'll start finding ways to run more, even if that does mean an early start!
See you at the finish line!

Definitely a night owl here. But a few weeks in I'm already setting my alarm clock an hour earlier to get out for my runs.

The NHS recommendation is that everybody should do a minimum of 75 minutes of strenuous exercise every week to maintain good healthy heart , but it is up to you whether you do it or not.
Use it or lose it prevails.
5:30 am is a wonderful time to run.
