So just finished wk8 run 2 and I knew it was going to be a struggle after a very very difficult wk7.

So I’m ok for the first 15/16 min(would go to far as say I enjoy it)) and then i really struggle and I find myself stopping(I let myself walk for 60/90sec and then carry on and then I stop at the last 2 mins and kind of half jog/half walk to finish.

At first I was so cross with myself and then I thought after so many gaps around wk 7 I’m bound to be out of practice and also couple months ago I couldn’t even run for 60 seconds. And the more negative I feel about stopping the worse it makes me feel ........So onwards and upwards

I really hated week 7 I think that was hardest of all for me! But think about how far u have come, from not running to being on week 8! Some days are better then others but u don’t have to go on u can stay at a week until u are ready to move forward.... u can do this and have done so far!! 😊😊😊

Don’t lose heart! Look how far you’ve come! Have a rest day and repeat the run. Today was just a practice! Do the run again on Friday and do it slowly. Really. Slowly. So slowly it’s barely faster than walking. Your endurance and stamina will still be building up as long as you are making the movements of running. I am proof of that! I used to laugh at my slow pace. W5 R3 was a snail’s pace for me, just under 11 minutes per km average pace. 😀 You can speed up later - even after you’ve graduated from the programme. It doesn’t matter. You can do it! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
