W7 R1.... and then some

ok so... tonight was W7 R1 and i actually felt great! Not like W6 R3 where i wanted to give up the whole way round 🀣

I felt so good that when she said the 25 minutes were done i didn't stop and i carried on for and extra 8 minutes until i had ran for 33 minutes and covered 3.2 miles! Just over 5k! I honestly have no idea where the energy came from but it just felt so good. I had a nice rhythm going and was enjoying it so i just went with it.

This programme is amazing. 7 weeks ago i struggled with running for 60 seconds 8 times and then today i ran for 33 minutes non stop! Amazing!

Very well done!! I also did my first w7 run today, but stopped at 25 minutes, because I’d just sat out for 4 days with a pulled calf muscle so didn’t want to go nuts. I can’t wait to do 5k though, I bet the feeling is immense!

Its amazing, i literally called my husband during my cool down walk to tell him and text most of my family 🀣

Well done for getting back out there after time off with an injury! And even bigger well done for managing the full 25 minutes! 😁

Thank you 😊 I was so glad to be back, four days without running was hard, I’ve clearly grown to love it more than I realised.

Haha yeah I will be the same when I hit 5k, everyone is going to know about it!

Wow well done, I did WK7R1 yesterday and I wish I felt as good as you doing it lol.

Congratulations on getting from couch to an actual 5k, you've completed the title of this programme lol! Take it easy on the next two runs though, as you can risk injury if you increase your duration too quickly.

Thank you 😊 I certainly will, i think my next run i will stick to the 25 minutes to make sure i don't push it too much 🀣

Omg! Well done you for hitting 5k within 30min! That's amazing. You've jumped right to the end of the program too. I'd be happy just hitting 4k in 30min but am enjoying the journey.x

Thank you! I wasn't quite in the 30 minute time frame but was just happy to have managed slightly over 5k 😊 We have come so far from week 1! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ
