So after w8r2 I had a fibro flare and then sole care of my two tiny humans for 12 days so ended up having two weeks off running. Sunday i strapped on my trainers and hit the trail. My running buddy is injured and without his 4 legged pace setting I went too fast and at 22 minutes had to stop due to hideously high heart rate and breath. Undeterred I set out yesterday and setting a slower pace smashed the 28 minutes after my morning workout. Spurred on I worked out and stretched this morning and then set out for another solo run much to the disgruntlement of Sirius whose on short lead walks only due to injury.
I am amazed that I managed it! I've fibro, arthritis, knee and hip problems in a million years I never thought I'd run for 30 minutes continuously. I've not managed 5k yet (4.3 today) but it feels amazing! Thank you for all your support when I had a flare learning to listen to my body is really helping. Whoop!
