It was raining heavily overnight but had just stopped by the time I got out of the door.
Realised about half way through the first 5 minute run that my cadence was too fast (ie. more than 180/min). Showed it down to a lollop and suddenly something clicked and it became much easier.
That said, the last two minutes were very trying on the will power, but not quite as hard as the previous run. A hint of a stitch also sneaked in about three minutes from the end but it never became annoying.
And this time I remembered to do the post-run stretches.
Distance: 4.2km inc walks, pace 7'55"/km inc walks. Yes, I know my natural pace is fast. I can't help it if I have long legs.
