it's this thing:

decathlon.co.uk/balance-boa...

you try to stand on it and keep your balance, it improves propioception (your awareness of where you are) and your balance. As you need to make minor corrections all the time to not fall, you are training the muscles in your knees and ankles to support you. For advanced users, you do it on one foot (not me!!) and you can also use it for other exercises, like plancks, to make them more challenging.

It was recommended by a friend who had had a knee injury and found it very good for the recovery. I had a knee injury a long long time but I was a bit worried when I started running, so I like using it 5 min a day, while I'm warming up the food for lunch :)

Ohhh.....maybe on my next trip. I got a pair of walking shoes (my feet got soaked when I wore my mesh trainers in long wet grass!)...and then spent ages looking at the running aisles. They didn't have any of the socks I wanted. I had considered a jacket for the rainy days, but I'd already picked up the walking shoes, so opted for something cheaper. Call me crazy, I got sunglasses for running. I really should have got the jacket as it was raining this morning 🙈

Anything and everything is great from decathlon.

I just have to order everything online as nearest one to me is oxford which is still a good hour 30 drive 😢.

Happy shopping , go nuts 🥜😂

Pretty far to go for just one shop.... Unless you had other things to do and see. My nearest is beside ikea, so going to visit both and hope the queues aren't the same now as when they reopened!

Same for us in the North East - always love a trip to Decathlon but it’s an hour away, so we squeeze in Sports Direct, Smith’s toys and a sneaky McDonalds at the same time 😁
