W6 R1 completed and completed well :-)

Was worried this morning about this run, but did it and did my best 1 mile and best 2 mile times today.

Very happy :-) as this can be a run that catches you out, but smashed it.....

Bought a Garmin watch over the weekend too, and I know it sounds stupid, but knowing the data would be recorded fully helped motivate me. I am very motivated by numbers and facts, so really worth the money.

On to run 2 on Wednesday. Lets see how we do.

Great work! I think I was a bit too cautious about W6R1 yesterday, having heard similar warnings. I try not to be too motivated by the numbers but it is nice to see progress.

Well done you. Keep it going.

I am in my 50's and although reasonable active and fit over the years, never enjoyed running as an activity until now. My only disappointment is that I didn't do this earlier as it is keeping me sane and fit at the same time and reducing my weight, improving my body shape, so all good. Keep it up, not far to go now.
