I can’t believe it but I just ran 22 min without break and I didn’t feel too bad at all. It wasn’t fast but it was steady.

Admittedly I’ve repeated week 4 and 5 before I got the courage up to do this run and nearly chickened out at last minute. But I did it hurrah.

Well done.

W5R3 in the NHS C25k programme is 20 minutes, so if you ran for 22, you did more than necessary.

Congratulations 🎉🎉

It feels like a big ask to do that run doesn’t it? But then your legs respond to that big ask by replying ‘oh, okay then’, and you complete it. Massive well done!

So much of that leap is mental, as the previous runs have all prepared you physically.

Big pat on the back, have a glorious, grin-filled, rest of your day and rest/recovery day, and here’s to week 6. Let us know how you go!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, you gave yourself a extra two minutes of running, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 22 minutes that you have just ran. 😊 🏃🏾
