Running in the rain

Have always avoided running in the rain thinking it would be harder. Looked like the steady rain was in for the day yesterday, so Wk 7 run 3, i decided to brave it...what a revelation! I ran faster, felt stronger and really alive and for the first time, felt I could have run on. I was really buzzing afterwards. Just wanted to say if, like me you've waited in the past for the rain to go off - don't, give it a try. Next time it rains and my run is due (providing it's not freezing cold and blowing a gale!) I'll be heading straight out there.

I absolutely love running in the rain! I completed W8R1 yesterday and looked like a drowned rat, but i was buzzing when I'd done it😊
