Hi everyone, has anyone else found week 5 pretty hard? I wasn’t expecting it to jump to 20 mins I thought it was run 1 repeated three x😂 I did complete the week though which I’m pleased about. BUT it felt like a real slog. I’m stretching before and after, not eating much-a banana, and drinking water before. Does anyone have any tips? 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Hi Tomartom, I started week 5 this morning and also got bit of shock at not having 3 runs of the same duration! Run 1 was fine though, I had something light to eat and also changed my route as I find this distracts me when my legs start to tire. I must admit I am feeling a bit nervous about doing 2 runs of 8 minutes on Tuesday morning but I will trust in the plan and see how it goes! Good luck to you for weeks 6.

Hi Lynne, good luck with this week, I think you are right to trust in the plan, it’s worked so far! I think back to when I could barely run a minute! Changing the route might help. I’m quite distracted from it as it’s such a lovely location, there’s also quite a steep hill at one point😳
