Morning all, hope you’re all well!
My dad and I completed the first run today. My dad has struggled with shin splints, calf and Achilles issues in the past, so this is really about him building into his running, preventing pain and enjoying running for the sake of running.
I’m merely his guide, his person to talk to and his own personal coach. I’m a personal trainer myself and have completed CrossFit’s running course, so I helped him to warm up and gave him a few pointers along the way.
Looking forward to taking this journey alongside him to see how his running develops and whether we can prevent old issues from recurring.
