I had a bit of a break and only did 2 runs in 2wks since graduating (bit naughty)
So today I went out thinking Iβd do another of wk9s runs. I had Michael in my ear and when he said thatβs time for your 5min cool down walk I looked at my distance and was at 4.5k so I thought go for it you got this, and I did.
Managed 5k in 35 mins and I feel like Iβve got the bug again.
Iβm now going to try to stick to 2-3 runs a week
Anyone else who hasnβt run for a week or so - get back out and give it your best. ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈyou may just surprise yourself πππ

Wow congratulations!! That's a fantastic achievement πππ€ΈββοΈπ I'm still working on my first 5k, maybe I need to take a bit of a break and try again π
Thank you Iβm so happy. You will reach it. Just keep at it. I
I wouldnβt recommend taking a break it really did take a lot to even get my running gear on today, and I had a failed run on Monday (got 8mins in and everything went wrong) which nearly put me off for life π³π
Stuck with it and I bet youβll be there in no time πͺπ»πͺπ»ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ
There must have been something in the air on Monday, I had a terrible run too, it made me grumpy all day! It's a bit frustrating at times but yes, we need to just keep at it πππββοΈ
Itβs weird because my Monday runs are normally my best- but not this week ππ
I just walked home and thought βitβs one bad one in all the fab onesβ and I let it go. So glad I did or it would have been on my mind today, thankfully it wasnβt and look what happenedππ½ββοΈπͺπ»
Yaaay! Massive congratulations! It is a monumental achievement indeed. Well done! Keep going, enjoy running and keep conquering new milestones! ππͺπββοΈππββοΈπ
