Run Your Own Run

It’s 6 months since I started Couch to 5k and I’ve been thinking about how it’s been so far and what I’ve learned and I wanted to share it with you all. Yesterday over on Bridge to 10k I was talking to some of our wonderful Virtual Running Buddies (VRB’s). This gave me such encouragement I was inspired to make myself a poster as a reminder of advice given, and lessons learned. I hope it helps you embrace running and welcome it as a lifetime friend.

Thank you so much Hidden - your poster is absolutely beautiful. The writing is wonderful and heartfelt. And a gorgeous photo as well.

Huge big virtual hugs!!!

Thank you too Fionamags, the photo is of my last garden, which me and Mr Jorge built. I still miss it 4 years on but we are creating a new one and the Buddha head is about to be reinstalled, then it will remind me to go easy every time I look out of my window 🧘‍♀️ 🤗

So true!! And thanks for sharing your poster with us all.

Since I found this site, around 4 weeks into my journey there has been nothing but unbridled support and positivity. I wish I had found it sooner, but that was not how it was meant to go.

I have it now and I can honestly say that without the support on there and from @Tinytears60, I wouldn't have gotten this far.

You have expressed what I feel too.

😊😊😊

Thank you Plattszo, I was the same, a few weeks in before I found this wonderful community and it has been and is such an important part of staying motivated. There is so much here, it has taught me so much and not just about running 🤗
