Was kinda nervous about today’s run, with the first 3 minute one coming up but I did it!

And I felt like I could’ve kept going. It feels like nothing in comparison to what we are working up to, but it’s a long time for me. Feel kinda silly for being proud when it’s still such a small amount of time but it’s knowing that I can actually do it and makes me want to keep going even more :D

Hope you’re all getting on well :) x

Don’t feel silly at all. I could barely complete 60 seconds in week one, so 3 minutes felt like a mountain to climb at the time. Can’t remember exactly but think I nearly cried I was so pleased to have got through first 3 minutes.

I’ve made it to week 9, and don’t feel as daunted with a longer run than I used to.

Trust the programme - it works.

Good luck with the next run.

That's just how I felt a fortnight ago - 3 minutes was double, and felt like a lot. Isn't it fantastic how this works! I now need to do my first 8 minutes tomorrow, and I feel a bit more confident than I was when I started week 3. Good luck - we will get there!

Well Done You! Don't feel silly - it's a real achievement! YOU did it! My first week, in early April, I felt daft, tbh. Now, jogging / shuffling...and just starting to lengthen my stride... yesterday 6.27k at an average pace of 7:39 mins / km - I'm loving it! I could barely do 30 seconds 3 months ago... Just go steady, be good to yourself...and push a little... above all enjoy it and keep going! 👍

Go you! that's amazing. I remember that run! it was tough.

I know its odd, but I compelted the programme (it really works) and still run a couple of times a week, but NOTHING has compared to the first time I ran for 5 minutes. I was over the moon and would tell anyone that would listen "I can run for 5 minutes".

In hindsight maybe some thought my shock/pride/"chuffedness" was a bit misplaced, but, while I recognise the other acheivements, I think we all have a moment that really means something in this programme, that we will remember. Maybe this run was yours.

You definitely shouldn’t feel silly for being proud - if you compare this to where you were when you started it’s a massive achievement!

Well done 👍🏼
