First run done, aches and pains as expected.

Felt great after it. My normal exercise is walking 5k or more per day but this running part is hard.

What I find is I’m embarrassed to run even when there’s no one around. I’m overweight and feeling the jiggly bits moving is horrid. The only thing that’s making it hard for me is the self embarrassment. Anyone got any advice on how to get rid of this gremlin ?

Find a place without many people. I found a perfect park and go there in the evening (around 6pm) as there not many people. A few dog walkers. No one watches me and I can wobble as much as I want. Also, late run makes me thirsty but not hungry- double wham for weight loss

Good luck.

Hi Neilyx. I am also overwheight and have just done first week. Felt like a plodding carthorse and yes things were jiggling about, but it's important to do things for ourselves and not worry what others are thinking. Keep it up you're doing great
