Hi - I’m new to running - currently on week 4 - finding it quite hard especially the 5 min runs - got my run 3 of week 4 tonight - I don’t look forward to it but I’m so glad when I’ve managed it

The trick for me was to learn to run slowly! Your brisk walk can be faster than your run. I run using the Japanese slow jogging technique

I first saw this in w6 and still run this way - it’s low impact and still run this way and absolutely love it! Give it a try it might just help as the durations increase.

Hi, I know exactly what you mean. I'm at exactly the same stage as you and am feeling very apprehensive about Week 5, which for me is tomorrow 😳
