I can’t believe I ran for 25 minutes (twenty-five minutes!!!!!!) non-stop! It’s crazy how this programme actually works, i didn’t believe it would at first but it’s crazy the difference i’m seeing! So happy 😊
Week 6 Complete!: I can’t believe I ran for 2... - Couch to 5K
Week 6 Complete!
It’s such a great feeling isn’t it! Well done. Onwards to next week!
I know. It’s fabulous. I didn’t think I’d be able to run for 25 mins and now I’ve done it 3 times. It definitely is a great feeling. Let’s keep it going. 💪👍👏
Yay well done. It’s incredible isn’t it? I wish I had found this programme years ago. Really well done 👍
Same here. Great job....👍
You are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, onwards and upwards to week 7, congratulations 👍 😊 🏃🏾
Well done runner 😊
So happy to read this. About to do mine. Will let you know how I get on.
Congratulations on your 25 minute run. I’m hoping that will be me tomorrow morning. Any tips?
Congratulations! Well done! Agree, its amazing that this works. Bottle up that feeling. The more it imprints on your brain, the more it will help you get through the next challenges. You've got this!
Well done, it's an amazing feeling!! I was amazed too and still am after finishing Wk 7. Keep going, you can do it. 😊
Well done. It’s encouraging to read about your progress. You’re doing well. Best wishes.
Yes, well done 👍- I completed the same run on Friday too. It was a great feeling hearing Laura say "You're a runner now". Looks like week 7 is just more of same again. Roll on Monday, I know I can do it now.
Well done. that's great ! Like you say it seems an impossible dream at first and now you are nearly there.
Fantastic milestone you've reached! Stick with it to the end! Xx
Well done you! Keep smiling and running! 🏃♀️
I remember that feeling of just having run 25 min. Actually I didn’t feel as happy as that even when I completed week 9. Just because 25 seemed like such a bug jump and I was sure I couldn’t do it.
Well done and enjoy! It only gets better and better from here!
Well done...it's brilliant isn't it? Take care and happy running. 😎👍
It’s such an amazing feeling isn’t it! I just did week 7 run 1 this morning so at same place as you virtually. We can do this!
I did week 6 run 3 on Wednesday as I'm a bit out of sync so repeated it yesterday. Wasn't sure I could but thought it was work a try and I did it. Slow and steady is my pace picking up a little at the end. Always seem to attract the rain though!
Well done to everyone else hitting 25 mins!
Hats off to you- that’s fantastic! I’ve just done W6R1 so am encouraged by your post, thank you. And congratulations again!
Well done. It really is a great programme that I would recommend to anyone. I graduated yesterday which is a great feeling. Keep going and enjoy your running. 👍🙂
Well done . It’s such a good feeling .
Well done! On Thursday just gone I too got to the end of week 6 like you’ve just done. Seeing the term “runner” show up on the app was something I didn’t think was ever that relatable to me! About to start on the last three weeks now and aiming to not only do 30 minutes times but to improve my pace too. Hopefully you’ll go on from strength to strength too! 🏃♀️
Well done! I have my first 25min run in the morning, I’m really looking forward to it.
Well done, I know exacy how you feel! I just did this 25 minute run today and after a week with energy levels a sloth could compete with 🦥, I felt a bit apprehensive, particularly as I struggled a little with the second block of 10 minutes in run 2 this week and had to take an extra day off between run 1 and 2. Before I went out, I read some of the comments you and others wrote about completing this 'mile stone' run to rev me up for this run and I did it! I find everyone's comments and similar experiences here really supportive and encouraging, particularly on those low energy, no motivation days. I always seem to struggle with the last 2 minutes in each longer run (must be a psychological thing), but I paced myself right, I even got the same split for each km! Onwards and upwards next week I hope!
Well done! It's amazing isn't it? 3 months ago I 'dipped my toe' in jogging again, didn't really believe I'd be able to let alone want to...and now I'm hooked! Wishing you all the best for your running future!😉😆
Congratulations! Any tips for the longer runs? Is it better to try a different route, change of scenery? I run round a cricket ground and 5 circuits is a round 20 mins but wondering if I should try something new just to get rid of that feeling if I need to go round x times?
Yes, I’d definitely try and find a longer route, I go to a large local park and 1 lap around takes me about 12 minutes, so for the 25 minute runs I only
do about 2 laps! This definitely helps me, and also having the nice scenery to take my mind off of the fact I’m running. Also listening to music helps me immensely, I listen to a running mix on spotify (pace of songs are sped up) and this helps me bc I have a little sing along or can run to the pace. I didn’t start listening to music until my longer runs and it definitely helped. 🥰
Great, thank you so much. I will try and find a longer route. I listen to the radio as I quite enjoy the conversation in between the music. Some people have suggested podcasts too so you’re not thinking about the time it takes for a song to finish! Thanks for the tips and good luck with the remainder. I’m a run behind, just completed week 6, run 2
