I really want to graduate before Monday, as I'll need a week off...so today's run is after a single days rest...AND out in the rain. Hardly anyone else out, so great to have the path to myself. Also can't help but remember what I used to think of runners in the rain....how hardcore, they must be really focused and disciplined to run in the rain! π
Having said that, my speed was slower...could be a mix of the one day rest...and I didn't stretch out after the last one (got caught up talking to the neighbour)...and a niggle in my heel on today's run...and not having eaten since lunch? Okay, okay, it's most likely the niggle slowed me down. The fear of a returning injury made me aware of how I landed my foot the rest of the way π. ...good news, cold blast with the shower and it feels ok now. I'll aim for two days rest then bring it on W9R3 π

We are in exactly the same place. I did my run 2 yesterday. Ran in the rain for the first time and loved it. Will probably go for run 3 on Monday. Exciting isnβt it π
I'm even dreaming about my next run....although hope my actual run will be more successful than the dream one...I needed up chasing my water bottle as it rolled in a big circle round me.... weird!!
I actually like morning runs best but once I'm back at work that may change as I'd need to start at 6am!
I'm tempted to do mine 9/3 today as it's gorgeous weather here π and possibly a sign I should just do it BUT im resisting the urge and going on my bike instead π
Me too.... I look at other runners and canβt believe Iβm one of them. Before I started this Iβd never run anywhere. W9R2 today. My aim was to do 5k on my birthday.... this Weds. Well, it probably wonβt be 5k but I will graduate with a huge smile on my face like the rest of you ππ€ͺπ. Letβs smash it W9ers!! π
