Ref earlier post ... I know - I should have stopped.

Feeling really bad now - hope one of the many dog walkers who were around helped

Thoroughly ashamed of myself

Nah- don’t beat yourself up - you asked if it was urgent and it wasn’t. If he’d said call an ambulance and you ran on i might have been a little more judgemental😜honestly, I wouldn’t worry. And don’t let it take the shine off your achievement. You are obviously a very nice person to be worrying.

He clearly got directions from someone else or he would have waited for you.

Now what’s that song going round in my head ..

Ain’t nothin gonna break my stride ..🎶 😜 ( I’m an 80s girl can’t you tell?!)

Thanks SweatyHettie but still feel awful. Decided not to post anymore - just read other success stories to spur me on.

Thanks to all who have supported me so far - sorry I let you down today

All the best for your personal voyage on the C25K mission

We can do it !

I'm with SweatyHettie - what a lovely person you are worrying like this after the fact ...but please don't!....

Don't give up posting - you spur people on with your posts!....

I'm not giving up that easy on a member of our running family!... :-)

So I’ve got over it, kept going this week and posted again. Great to see you are doing so well - very nearly there. Thanks for your support

Ashamed of what? Offering to help? You politely asked him to wait a few minutes for you to return? I don’t see what the big deal is, if he was that desperate for your help he’d have waited 🤷🏻‍♂️

You were quite right and I’ve moved on this week with W7. It is all a distant memory now. Thank you for putting it in perspective

Oh, this makes me so sad 61lady. I’m sorry that you feel so bad about this. I know what it’s like to agonise over a mistake -perceived or otherwise -but I bet you the person in question hasn’t even given it a second thought. Yet here you are still beating yourself up about it. I can sympathise with that, but everyone on the outside is telling you not to worry. Try and put it behind you and don’t let it spoil this amazing experience.

We would miss sharing your journey with you if you stop posting- we are all here for each other to celebrate the highs and give support with the lows, -as TT puts it, our running family. A friend in need and all that. We’re here for you. But of course it’s your choice.
