Maybe W3 R3, see how that feels and if ok, then try W4 R3, im sure after your first run back you will be able to gauge how much you can do. I started again after not running for a few years and felt the first few weeks were to easy.

Good luck

I'm not sure you 'know' any such thing. Have you been out for a half hour stroll OK?

There's a case for carrying on from where you left off - you take it very slowly and gently, don't give yourself any hills... and you don't panic if you don't complete it at the first attempt. However, weeks 5 and 6 are big ones in the programme, you've had a month off which has included illness (depends what sort of illness) so there's a case for W4R3 as your next outing.

I did the same before completing week 9- ended up not finishing it for a couple of months. I went back to week 5 as a gauge for whether to go back to week 4 or forward to week 6. I found I was able to do more than I thought I would but wasn’t bothered, just being happy to be doing it again! Just take it easy and enjoy it without putting pressure on yourself!
