Took me just under 37 minutes and honestly felt like I was dragging myself from my very first step. Pulled myself through though and didnt give up until I hit that 5k mark!
One day I will actually enjoy it ππ but for now, the feeling after completing a run and knowing I'm getting fitter is enough to keep me going π

Well done, 37 mins is very good, that's the first part. Now just consolidate and get out there on a regular run and you will benefit from the regular exercise.
You don't have to do 5km or 30 mins every time, alternate your times or distance. Also change your routes everytime if you can. That keeps your brain working all the time also. Gives you interest.
I lost 17lbs in a year and a half. Also blood pressure is down, heart rate is good, and cholesterol down. So running does you good.
