had to do this one this evening as had to work early this morning we usually go out for the run at 6.30am this is only the 2nd evening run we have done throughout the program. Started well but after around 6 mins my chest felt a little tighter than usual I was chatting to my partner about it and coming up with reasons this may be such as the air is not as crisp, I am a smoker (for my sins)mhave smoked through the day, I have eaten through the day where I would normally run before food and so on. Finally heard the halfway bell and thought this is the first time I may not make it to the end πŸ€” . My partner on the other hand felt great and said he thought he could go a bit quicker so I told him to go ahead but just to wave back at me when it was time to stop to which he replied no chance we started this together we run it together to the end 😍. He asked if I wanted to slow down but I felt I didn't need to as my legs were in a rhythm and we were still holding a conversation so we carried on. Michael told us there were 5 mins left and I thought thank god, I made it to the end but this was the first time I felt I couldn't have done much more. After walking the 5 min cooldown we arrived home and I checked the stats of our run compared to Mondays run and although it felt like we were running at the same pace we were actually quicker in every section of the run an average pace of 7.56km so maybe that was the reason my chest felt a little tighter and not all the other reasons I came up with lol. Anyway we did it πŸ₯°πŸ‘«πŸ‘Šand it feels good.
