I don’t think work have realised just how much they are inconveniencing me by bringing me back from furlough. I’m really struggling to keep up with all the posts on here now 😂
On another note is it just me or does anyone else, while there out and about and see people running, think to themselves I wonder if that person is on the C25K, or I wonder I’ve actually spoken to that person on the forum? Nope?! Just me?! 😂

Ah-ha! Maybe not. Very slow running with planned walking breaks is how you train for both marathons and ultra marathons. Nobody sprints through 80-160km per week, not even top end pros who run slow from between 50-80% of their training time. So, you could be looking at one of them thinking, hey, here's another newbie! 😉
haha no me too. I pass runners who look like they are a runner, I have my last run of week 9 tomm, but wouldn't yet class myself as a runner, and I sure don't look like one, I'm too slow! Determined to do 5k tomm but it may not be 30 mins.
No its not just you. There are a few people around who I feel may be doing C25K. I really want to be nosy and ask but I just wave and say morning as they run/walk in the opposite direction.
You have my sympathy............I am self employed and my work fits around my runs.
At a recent reckoning there were reckoned to 6.8 million runners in the Uk and we know there has been a huge increase since lockdown, so the chances are quite slim that the folk you see are actually doing C25k, but a sizeable proportion of those nearly seven million will have started their running careers with C25k, but they didn't necessarily come onto this forum........the fools, they don't know what they are missing.
