2nd time for me

So, two years ago I finished c25k at the age of 62. Impressed I did it in 9 weeks. I was slow and did my first park run in 47 minutes. Sadly I was ill for most of 2019. Then we had COVID-19. My youngest daughter has chronic ill health for 10 years and has put on a lot of weight having been under a blanket for most of this time. But life does get better and having finished university and got a job albeit working from home atm decided enough was enough and asked me to run c25k with her. Well she may have awful health but youth on her side. The whole 9 weeks which finished on Sunday were amazing. We subconsciously didn’t want to let the other down and she made me runner faster than I ever thought possible. Finished our last run and made 5k. She is a happier and more positive person already. Having read BBC news this morning how many people have signed up to the programme over lockdown I congratulate you! Be so proud of yourself. This is an amazing programme and you will be an inspiration to others to take on the challenge.
