Well I started all over again, and survived. After giving up 2 weeks ago I never thought I'd start again, but after joining this forum yesterday I went put this morning with a completely different mindset. Yes I was slow, yes it was hard but I did it and more importantly I didnt hate it. I wasnt bothered how slow I ran because I just wanted to finish it and feel good and I do feel really good.

Thank you to everyone who offered support to me yesterday and gave me such encouragement. I'm still finding my way round this forum, I'm really not very tech savvy, so if I dont reply to your kind words please know that it's very much appreciated I'm just not very good at this ๐Ÿคฃ

Hi, as you have realised slow doesn't matter, doing it does. You've got this and you've got the whole forum behind you.

Well, you are here now and up and running ! well done ! ๐Ÿ‘

Well done thatโ€™s amazing!!!! It took me time to manage to do the first run (Iโ€™m only on week 2)and the slow jogging advice is the best because it really helps me pace myself.

Now you can spend the day reminicing (thatโ€™s my favourite part, feeling happy about what Iโ€™ve achieved).

So so happy for you, keep it going you can do it!!!

I've just watched a video about slow running someone kindly sent me, which I found really interesting. I'm certainly feeling positive at the moment

I always felt a failure going so slow, in fact I didnt think I could go any slower! But actually I'm a success for going in the first place ๐Ÿ‘

Hi Feltip,

I came to this forum a few weeks after starting C25K; things were difficult at that point and the forum helped a lot. Hopefully it will be great for you also.

Keep posting and keep running.

Good luck :-)

PS it took me three weeks to move past Week 1 but I made it all the way to W9R3 in the end!

Fantastic! The power of a "can do" attitude should never be underestimated. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜

Just keep on taking each run one at a time, nice and steady and you're going to be impressed with your progress. You can do it!

You might want to join the "Strength and Flex" community too so that you can learn about stretches and other exercises you can do following your runs, and on your rest days to compliment your running habit. You'll get both community posts in your news feed.
