Thank you everyone. You've all made me feel so much more motivated. The base of my back is feeling it today and the burn in my thighs is unreal π I did do a proper warm up and cool down then had a hot muscle soak in the bath. Think I'll be concentrating on stretches today and do my 2nd run tomorrow. Any tips for meals & snacks would be very much appreciated. I work a lot of night shifts and find it hard to eat properly as I always crave salt & sugar during the night. x

Don't eat before you go on a run otherwise you will have the biggest stitch haha. Always have something with carbs in: a slice of toast, a brunch bar or a bowl of cereal when you get home so you don't pass out and a drink of water. Never run on an empty stomach but don't pile in the food. You'll do great! I completed it last monday and now I am about to go on the first 30 minute run without Jo whiley haha its going to feel weird. Good luck
The base of your back is hurting? Make sure you are stretching your hamstrings and gluteus after your run, it might help.
