Thank you everyone. You've all made me feel so much more motivated. The base of my back is feeling it today and the burn in my thighs is unreal πŸ˜„ I did do a proper warm up and cool down then had a hot muscle soak in the bath. Think I'll be concentrating on stretches today and do my 2nd run tomorrow. Any tips for meals & snacks would be very much appreciated. I work a lot of night shifts and find it hard to eat properly as I always crave salt & sugar during the night. x

Don't eat before you go on a run otherwise you will have the biggest stitch haha. Always have something with carbs in: a slice of toast, a brunch bar or a bowl of cereal when you get home so you don't pass out and a drink of water. Never run on an empty stomach but don't pile in the food. You'll do great! I completed it last monday and now I am about to go on the first 30 minute run without Jo whiley haha its going to feel weird. Good luck :)

The base of your back is hurting? Make sure you are stretching your hamstrings and gluteus after your run, it might help.
