How very kind of you all to come to my graduation party ๐๐.
Having ordered in the champagne, just in case, I went out for a swim after work. How wonderful though to see you all in my sitting room, as I turned on the light "Surprise!" You all shouted and raised your glasses, handing me one as you did.
Of course we have fruit juice and water, still or sparkling, for those who don't drink alcohol. And mocktails too. Supper is a Mary Berry chicken dish with spinach, baby button mushrooms and crรจme fraรฎche. Glad I prepared that earlier. Then for the vegetarians amongst us, there's eggs florentine. Do you notice a theme here . . . Popeye springs to mind!
Conversation flows as well as the champagne. Running shoes are discussed, gait analysis, best runs, worse runs, mediocre runs, running kit, lights, music ๐ถ, ailments, parkruns, half marathons, full marathons, gosh you are a sporty lot, and so so knowledgeable.
My goodness, is that the time? Thank you so much for coming. Some of you have come such a long way, other parts of the UK, other countries, and I really appreciate you joining me. Here you are ladies, a single red rose๐น and for you gentlemen, a party balloon ๐ and a toy car ๐ or a lego kit, you choose! Good bye, 'bye, safe journey home!
Oh and the best bit about a cyber party, there's no clearing up!
Happy running! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ป๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐ป๐พ๐พ๐พ๐น๐น๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐
