Just completed today’s run but I’m going to be nowhere close to 5k in 30 mins, should I Aim to continue to run for 30 mins and try and get faster or run the 5k in a longer time??

I'm the same - my aim now is stamina over speed. Once graduated, my aim will be speeding up.

Well done, I completed the same run this morning. I’m almost amused at how slow my pace is 😀. Today, on the second 10 minute run, I did try to step it up just a tad and managed just over 10 min/km. Managed to work out that it would take me 50 minutes to run 5K 😂 even at that increased pace!

It doesn’t matter. I’ve started to try and run a bit faster during the last 60 seconds, and I have noticed a slight lengthening of my stride in the last couple of runs. There is time to try and increase pace on the long runs coming up, or even after we’ve graduated, but I won’t be taking risks for the next few runs until I feel more comfortable. Slow and steady!
