Please can I ask what to wear on a day like today when it is wet and windy ? I am fortunate enough to have had really good weather on my run days over the past 3 weeks and don’t want to give up getting to the 5k goal because of the weather. Any help appreciated.

Personally, I just wear my ordinary running gear, otherwise you can soon overheat .

The first time I got caught in rain I found it so refreshing after the hot weather so now dont bother 😁🏃

When the winter arrives you will need to layer up but skin is waterproof and so just get wet and enjoy the sensation, otherwise you are likely going to get too hot.

At this time of the year I just run in my usual running gear as it is really refreshing to feel the rain on your skin and it helps to keep you cool. I don't run if it is torrential though!

In the colder weather you will need to add an extra waterproof layer.

Thank you all very much, looks like I’m off to get wet now then 🙂
