Yes, I basically had the same question. The weather has changed noticeably in the last couple of weeks – air temperature cooler, wetter, and there’s lots of slippery damp leaves underfoot. I think that I'm going to have to find some sort of gloves; running on Wednesday my hands were noticeably cold.

I'm now off to read the link that trevorjl posted here.

I got a pair of Ron Hill gloves and a hat in the sale on Sports Shoes website

Thin layers 🙂 A water resistant run jacket with a full zip is a boon Cheap as chips. A cap is handy too

Running gear is inexpensive if you are on a budget. Lidl, Aldi, Tesco, primary, Asda, Sainsbury's, Debenhams etc all, have their own ranges. My best gear has come from Lidl. My Aldi merino base layer comes out only in winter 👍

A snood! I love my snood when wind and frost bite in. A cap will cover my ears, snood will cover my neck and chin. Winter cold? What winter cold?

I'm also new to running and didn't want to spend a lot of money on new gear. I have a light cycling jacket which is very thin fleece on the inside and has a waterproof/ wind proof outer shell- it is perfect over the top of leggings and a T-shirt. Also, because it is a cycling top it is long enough to cover my backside! An added benefit is that it has a small chest level pocket which takes my phone and excess wires from the headphones while I am using the podcast. 😄

I have some info about that just because I love to buy that kinds of clothes. Mostly I love to buy clothes from online store and nowadays I am buying from harrystylesmerch.net/. Sweaters, sweatshirts, fleece; these will all work as the middle layer. It should be snug but not tight. Down coats also make a great middle layer in the coldest temperatures. Outer — This layer is less about keeping you warm (the first two layers should be doing that) and more about blocking the wind and rain.
