Finished Week 7 and pleased with progress, but left calf was very tight afterwards and have been treating with Voltarol / Stretching. Any view on rest for another day or go for it? Ran Sat AM not sore when walking now, due to run tonight.

Hi there. I really suffered with tight calf’s during the programme. I started to use a foam roller straight after the run and in the evening just to free up the muscle and it worked a treat. If you don’t have one anything round with a towel wrapped around it will work. I think if you do run try the rolling technique after and see if it recovers a little quicker. I very rarely have issues now. Good luck
