I started week two yesterday, and all went well. The biggest impact for me has been finding the app. As much as Laura is lovely and all that...the music wasn't for me, especially having to listen to the same music three times. Over the weekend I found the app on my phone and really liked the fact that my own music could be playing while I was still listening to the run timings. I like the fact you can choose your coach too...I chose Michael Jordan!

Well done! You made a start so that's the toughest bit done. Shame you won't be listening to the lovely Laura, and singing along to Julie. Julie is a rite of passage to us on the Laura version of C25k podcasts.
I also have Michael Jordan coaching me and I believe every word he says. Love it! I did try to use runkeeper at the same time last week as I was curious how far I was running. The app did not like that and Michael went quiet for most of the run. Looking at the reviews, it might not be the most robust app. I'm sticking with it for Michael though! I'll have a go with my own tunes when the runs get longer.
I had Map My Run running at the same time yesterday and that seemed to go ok. Might be worth a try. My music was on most of the time n just turned down when Michael spoke (or when map my run gave me my distance or splits.
