Well here I am at the end of this amazing journey. The πhas made it, it wasnβt 5k itβs def not pretty but I did πββοΈfor 30 mins !! What a journey I even realised after ten mins my calves no longer hurt !!
For anyone starting out on this journey be encouraged this is me.
65 and very overweight, health issues and never liked sport. My father used to say I ran with my legs tied together !!! But here I am thanks to C25K and this forum. My determination to not have my husband beat me also helped. Itβs been tough and Iβve doubted myself so many times but here I am at the end. I see this now as the beginning and am determined to carry on jogging three times a week. Hopefully I will get better and maybe some time from now reach 5k.
So for all you new folk out donβt give up!!
