Consolidation has begun

Having waited for my knee/hamstring to calm down after graduating on Saturday, I felt well rested and ready to go again yesterday. As it was so hot though, I left it till the evening for the first time ever, and drove to the water's edge in the local town at 9pm. What a beautiful run it was! I loved jogging along the FLAT footpaths, seeing a few people out for a stroll, loving the view, and not struggling at all. I don't really care that I only covered 3..8k in the 30 mins. It was lovely and no knee trouble. 🙂

Sounds idyllic. I love my pleasant plods too, about the same distance as you in 30 mins. So consolidating now with aim of eventually, when I have the courage, plodding 5k! Happy 'running'😀

That sounds exactly what running should be like! Well done on idyllic consolidation run 1. I might try an evening run. I’ve only done one before and I did like it but was sticking to the plan during the plan.
