I've just just finished my 3 weeks of consolidation runs and I've managing 5k in about 29 minutes which I'm happy with. But I just wondered how to develop speed? I would love to complete it quicker

If you read the guide to post C25k healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will find links to articles and advice on increasing pace.........all of which say spend more time running slowly to build your stamina and endurance, then push harder on the remainder using fartlek or interval.

Getting more miles on your legs will in time increase your speed.

I agree with packersruns, 29minutes for 5k is amazing! Wish I could do it! Maybe if I get on my bike!😂. I’m sure there will be lots of super speedy runners on here who can offer plenty of useful advice.

Keep on running, whatever the speed!
