When you are so sweaty that you are struggling to get your gear on before you even set out! 🥵🥵🥵.

06.30 , 19°C. This does not bode well.

I even ran in shorts!!!!

Took it gently and managed a very sweaty 35 minutes. This is definitely not my happy running zone, but we can't all be like mrrun

Do be careful out there if you are running later🤩

Shorts! 😂 Am considering some myself, leggings are soooo damn hot in this weather. I was also out at 6.30am and it was pretty warm 🥵

I have had these shorts in a drawer for over a year🤣🤣🤣. They are long shorts, more like an above the knee legging, and I don't care what I looked like, I may get some more.

Your name definitely would have suited me today 😊

I’m definitely going to buy some, with a face as red as mine when I’m running nobody is going to be looking at my legs! 😂

Count me out Jell6 I'd melt, I'm taking residence in the freezer 👍🥶

Ha! I don't blame you.

Have you got room inside for a small one?🙂

Consider it done Jell, there's a gap alongside the the frozen fruit and a frozen loaf 👍

Well done. I saw the car register 75F at about 8... which is ridiculous. My daughter has, correctly I think, decided that this is the time for an extra rest day. Of course I may have to go get a little one in myself 🤣

Not sure where I put my shorts... not ran in them since early spring!

I thought you ran in shorts year round.

What have you been wearing?

UnfitNoMore profile image

I did all winter in them. After some comments on here it was suggested that running tights could keep me cooler. I found a compromise as I didn’t want to either be on show or wear shorts as well! Now I run in running trousers... and I’d have to agree with the people telling me that it was possible to be cooler with my legs covered, they were spot on. I’m sure I’ll be back in shorts for the winter though 🤣🤣

Running trousers? Going to have a look at those.

So many good tips on this forum😊

Decathlon (rundry) £13! My daughter has some too and loves them. My only complaint is they have two regular pockets and a little zip one at the back... in the ladies both regular pockets have zips, but not in the mens! They were a bargain and yet I still got conned 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you, I've never heard of running trousers. I've just gone to cropped leggings in the heat as I never ever wear shorts!

I have avoided shorts until now, in spite of a recent post urging me to give them a go.

Well I finally bit the bullet, I also wore a sleeveless running top. Dear Lord, so much exposed skin, who am I?

I think it helped, but I am going to check out the running trousers. You can't have too much gear😊

I just looked on the website and they are out of stock, all these C25K people have bought them up!

It is with heavy heart that I can tell how this glorious weather will seize to exist in merely a day or so. However, I was grinning like Jack Nicholson in The Shining after I ran 10K yesterday and I am more than looking forward to be running again in an hour. Having read many comments in the past few days, I see that most people missed two of my very recent posts about hot weather and how to run when it's, well, hot. Here are the links again:

I did read it, I did do it, I just can't embrace it🥵, but I did manage it and my HR was no higher than usual, so your advice does work O lizardy one🦎.

Enjoy your run😊
