Hi all, I downloaded the C25K app about a month ago and completed one run. My hips hurt like heck and were so sore for the rest of the week, I didn't bother trying for a second run! I've since, discovered this site and read a few posts regarding sore hips and stretching and I'm inspired to give it another go tomorrow. Wish me luck. I will update after my run.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
Enjoy your journey.

Aww I aches all over at the start!...
I didn’t find this forum until week 4 so I’m really pleased you’ve found it early on...
remember if you can’t run .. them walk it and build up until you can run...
it’s great you’re here giving it a go... and the people are all so supportive!
Well done and best of luck - keep posting 😀
I have just completed wk2 run1 tonight. Like you on my wk1 run1 I was sore and was really proud I did the 2nd run as I really did not want too. I choose a different spot, a flat road that had pillars which I really liked as I realised I had to cover 22 pillers for the 60seconds to be over which I found really inspiring! I was scared to start wk2 tonight as was worried I would not be ready, I found it tough but did it and can't believe that it was only the previous wk I was unable to complete the full first run! I am schocked how quick it came however I am under no illusions that I will most probably repeat wk2 again but trust me if I can do it anyone can! ❤
