Those of you out running in this heat are absolutely bonkers ๐ Iโm sat relaxing on the sofa undoing all last nightโs hard work with a bowl of ice cream, with zero intention of moving ๐

Sounds great now I'll go help myself to a bowl of ice cream too!
Those who run in 32C 90F heat are risking heat exhausting I ran a 10K, my tenth this morning at. 6.30 when the temperature was only 13C/55F, it was a good run, I do understand that not everyone can run at that time of the day, I am now lying in my garden in the shade also with zero movement and soon will have a ice cream and drink Ginger Beer thinking of those people who are running in that 31C temperature.
Right.
You've all convinced me.
Am just finishing up work and have now firmly dismissed all thoughts of going for my second consolidation run before tonight's meal.
I too am going to sit in the garden, maybe even with a cold beer.
Cheers everyone ๐ป
5k to Couch ๐ sounds good in this heat, so does the ice cream ๐ฆ ๐
Sensible move ๐
I go out at 6:30am and love it - however , tomorrow itโs going to be 5:30am or not at all. Simple .
We must look after ourselves and drink a lot of water , for us newbies take it really slow . The distance is not important , jogging or running non stop for thirty minutes is your target . However , the heat may well interfere so just enjoy what you can manage . ๐พ
