Just completed wk5r2 in 28°C in the sun, and oh my was I hot! Runwise everything was mainly fine but the heat really did need some mental strength to overcome.
So whoever is going out for a run this week in this heat good luck and well done!

Well done on completing run 2 of week 5 in the 28C heat, it would be advisable for you to run, run 3 of week 5, that's 20 minutes of non stop running in the early morning to avoid the higher temperatures of later in the day, even then its to be warm but not as hot as the afternoon, good luck for that run, take it slowly, once you have completed it you will be very proud of yourself. 😊 🏃🏾
I just finished week 8 run 3 and I really struggled and feeling a bit sick now. I did run 2 on Sunday in the drizzle and increased my pace quite a bit so probably went into this run a little too cocky! The uphill I do with about 7 mins to go nearly killed me tonight! I can't do week day early morning runs so may have to run later in evening on Thurs.
Well done !
It must have been exhausting !
How about the heel strikes ?
I'm planing the same run tomorrow VERY early ( well, very for me 😂)
Well done for the run in the heat - I couldn’t do it! Running tomorrow at 5am. Getting up early is worth it for me, I can’t even walk in the heat, I just got exhausted watering the plants!
Well done on completing w5r2 in this heat, excellent work! Good luck for your next run, I'm sure you'll smash it.
I tried to do w8r2 but ended up walking the second half, I was just too hot and I think I started off too fast (even though I was going really slowly).
Well done! I dont think I could have completed a run in that heat!
Very well done! Tonight was the first time I gave up and stopped running, I was only a couple of minutes in and decided it was wayyy too hot so I had a lovely stroll instead
