I'm being bad at the moment and not running, but I used to go whenever I had the time. Before work if I was starting late, after work if not. To be honest I usually run when it's sunny!
5km charity run already? Wow. If you're feeling at all sore you may need an extra rest day. Or just take it really slow on your next run to give your body time to recover.
I know I shouldn’t have but it was to raise money for families of people at my school who have lost loved ones to Covid. Couldn’t say no took me 45 minutes. I used to be able to walk that fast 🤣
Thinking I might take and extra day off this week. I really look forward to the running and get a bit restless on my rest days 🙃
I live in Scotland so heat doesn't come into the equation...! I do prefer going out first thing before work because it's quieter and I find that I end up making excuses to not to go if I leave it to later in the day.
I like to go about 7.15am and then have breakfast afterwards. I’m working at home so don’t have any commute time at present. Less people about and it’s lovely to hear the birdsongs.
