After such a great jog on Saturday Iโm feeling a little deflated today. It was a tough one. I know they canโt all be perfect, but it would be nice, wouldnโt it? ๐
I had high hopes when I set off, felt good. Iโd even got into my new smaller sized running leggings (yay ๐), but my legs were having none of it. It was just a tough slog today. It felt like even my inner ๐ was struggling.
It felt very slow and clunky. But I made it and when I actually checked my stats it wasnโt very far off my normal pace, which was a big surprise. So today was more about how my legs felt than how I was actually jogging. Yesterday we had a very small family BBQ for our daughterโs birthday and Iโm sure I probably didnโt drink as much water as I would have normally done, which I know has a big impact.
One to chalk up to experience and move onto run 2, hopefully my inner ๐ข will make an appearance again in the last two runs ๐. So close now.

Oh do f be disheartened your doing great. I think the warm weather doesnโt help. Mind felt like lead yesterday too. Need to press on we are do nearly there. ๐๐โโ๏ธ
Hey, there were highs though! New skinny leggings โ , pace fine โ , more muscle memory in your legs โ and last but not least, you completed it โ โ โ . Hope youโve recovered from this one and are raring to go in some, hopefully, cooler weather! ๐ All the best for your penultimate run! ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐ข
