WEEK 5 'Terror'?! No more!!

Just a note to all you guys who supported me as I got into Week 5, and, in particular, over my fears around the 20 minute run 3. I finished it this morning without any problems and I need to thank all of you who stepped in to encourage me and help me tackle this. (The most significant aspect from the C25K people would be to emphasise that there is the psychological barrier which kicks in and needs to be confronted too). Very many thanks to you all! What a community!!!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Thanks for this advice. That would never have dawned on me. I suppose going slowly is the key.

Slow and steady does it.

So chuffed for you! W5R3 was my nemesis too and I did mine yesterday.... it briefly felt a bit of an anticlimax as I thought it would be so much harder ( I’m not complaining!)

You must feel amazing too - such a big step forward for us!

The whole of week 5 has been more of a mental battle for me but it’s done now 🏃🏽‍♀️👏👏
