Week2 run 3 done!

Finished week 2 but I think I might do one more run just to be sure I'm ready for week 3 also used new trainers (so much better). Also thinking of getting a fitbit, are they worth it?

Great job. You’re ready for week 3... but feel free to repeat if you really want to!

Personally I’d choose a Garmin Forerunner over a Fitbit as they’ve been specifically designed for runners, with more run functions (probably than most of us need). I’ve been using a 35 for over 12 months and it’s done everything I could have wanted.

Personally, I would follow the plan. However, I'm currently on Week 6 - Run 2, but after Week 5 - Run 3 I went for a stand alone run with a friend the day after. I ran for 27 minutes without stopping! If you have someone that's willing to do it with you, then it helps massively.

I do agree about the Garmin though, much better than the fitbit.

Keep going, you're doing it!! New shoes are lovely and made a huge difference for me at the start. I've just ordered a forerunner as Amazon have great deals at the moment on them (Fitbit too I think). That way you can properly track your fitness and how much you're improving to help things along on a tough day (we all get them!). Well done and you're doing great :)
