Well where do I start, so after graduation on Tuesday I said ok I feel Fantastic and well proud of myself as this Program is the Bizz.
So I gave myself a plan to start on my own on Friday this week, using the advice from the app to continue WK9R3 for a few weeks and slowly increasing pace and so on, knowing all along I'm gonna miss Jo,Laura and the team pushing me on.
So I downloaded the week by week podcast from the NHS couch to 5k website and I felt much better even though it's a different format but I was happy.
So this morning Thursday all of a sudden my mind and body started to, it's hard to explain, wanted to Run, and I said to myself Wow I am a runner, I had the morning free and yes you guessed it.
I went Running slight pause as I write this post.........Emotional times the rain didnt put me off, got my gear on my music and of course my podcast, and off I went.
I could not believe the change in me, and i settled into my groove and you would not believe it i smashed my 1k split time and i wasn't even attempting this,ok when i say smashed i mean 10sec or there abouts quicker ha ha.
And so i was drenched from head to foot, but i continued funnily enough my playlist near the end of the 30min Calvin Harris my way, and it brought a tear to my eyes with the rain water.
The feeling was excillerating when I finished and it was all down to the app and my now train mind and body, I still carnt believe it, hope this post inspire and encourage my fellow Forum community. ππ·π―πββοΈ
