So I’ve just completed run 1 week 7 and feeling quite pleased as I now know that running for 25 minutes two days ago was not a fluke and I can do it. I even managed to speed up for the last minute. Made myself slow down for the main part and focus on being able to breathe easily which was great, but my legs ached all the way through especially the back of my calves. Does this ever go away or is this just what running feels like?

Well done. Aches reduce over time, I only get them now if I push either pace or distance. Issues like this can often be down to hydration, which is easy to not be 100% on as the temperature rises and falls.
