Week 6/r2 - tougher than expected!

Having got past w5, I started w6 much more confident than the previous weeks, even daydreaming about being fit enough for park runs one day when they restart. But I found today’s run challenging and now, an hour later, my legs feel soooo heavy! Just hoping I’ll recover enough to complete r3 in 2 days time!! I’ve read posts warning about w6 - so true!!

I really struggled on this one too! Don’t be afraid to take 2 days rest maybe 3 if you need it. I’ve taken 2-3 between runs a few times and it’s really helped my body be ready for the next one.

Thank you for the advice. I’m not sure I recognise yet when my body is ready or not!! Vs finding an excuse to not go out 😊

It’s definitely a learning curve. Learning as I go.
