Well, set out for my week 9 final run this afternoon, but unfortunately couldnโt finish it as I started having pain behind my right knee. I stopped running after 10 minutes and decided not to finish the run as I donโt want to jeopardise my chances of finishing the run. ๐ฉ Iโm resting it at the moment for a few days but feel absolutely gutted I couldnโt finish my run today. I think itโs my body telling me to take it easy for a bit so will try later in the week ๐๐

Week 9 run 3 ๐ฉ

Sorry to hear that. I'm a couple of runs behind you as have been having an extra days rest due to knee pain as well. Slowly and surely we will make it!!

That is such a shame being your final run of the programme - I bet you were so prepared to finish! You absolutely did the right thing though. Nothing worse than pushing through and doing more damage (that's what I stupidly did soon after graduation and ended up on the IC for six miserable weeks). That graduation run will still be there waiting for you as soon as your knee is feeling better. Rest up for a few days, maybe ice it too and hopefully you'll be ready to complete the programme in style soon.

Oh no! Yes definitely take some rest, then you can just come back and smash it next time ๐ช๐ป๐

Sorry time hear that. I'mean gutted for you but you did the best thing. Plenty of RICE and hopefully you will be back up and running soon (no pun intended).

So sorry to hear you have joined me, my right knee too, also sliced the top off 2 fingers as well so sat with ice on knee and bandaged fingers and feeling sorry for myself.

You must be gutted, lots of rest and ice. Hope to hear you have completed it soon.

Good luck, Iโm right behind you ๐๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Thank you ๐
I meant to mention also with a niggly knee. Resting it today and seeing how it feels for tomorrow. Hope yours is okay ๐

Donโt be too downhearted, youโve run for 30 minutes twice on W9 R1 and R2, so you know your more than capable and youโve done great to get this far, so rest up and when youโre niggley knee is behaving itself, go out there and finish the programme in style with your best run yet ๐
