All I’ll say is you can do it - this one is mental not physical. Get your playlist together with some proper mood boosters for the last 10 mins. I love musicals so I had Book of Mormon blaring in my ears! Don’t think about it - I did and ended up almost backing out. Drink lots of water tomorrow and just go for it on Thursday!

Why do so many people who start a training plan designed to get them running for thirty minutes fear running for twenty minutes, rather than relish the challenge?
This breakdown of W5 may put it all in perspective for you healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
A positive approach to these challenges really does make a huge difference to enjoyment and attainment. so relax and do your best, trust the plan and believe in yourself.

Yes.
Just take it nice and easy. It's a mental test not a physical one.
Why do we say that? Simply because, though it's not obvious, your body is actually ready for it. It's shame that the program doesn't prepare you mentally because by the time W5R3 come around, many folk look at it and say "OMG, how on earth can I do that?" and then lo and behold, do it.
You've been out 14 times so far and done 157 minutes of running - and all that time on your feet, including the walking) is more than enough to prepare you for a 20 minute jog.
W4 was 3x of 16 minutes running (3, 5, 3, 5)
W5R1 was 15 minutes (3x 5)
W5R2 was 16 mins (2x 8).
Mantra 1: every run you've done prepares you for the next one (ie you're ready)
Mantra 2: the body is ready but the mind less so (ie ignore the gremlins)
You are READY.
Do it.
