I was just about to write a Consolidation Week 2 post, then when I checked, the last one was 2 weeks ago, so week 3 it is - too busy with finishing my last job and starting a new one tomorrow.
Managed a run every second day over the period, and while I still take a km or so to get going, I'm feeling more comfortable than before. I can definitely feel my stamina growing even though I'm not trying to increase anything yet.
One more week of consolidation (mainly as I'd hate to hurt myself and be off sick on my first week), then onwards to the 10k!
Keep going everyone, I've been popping in from time to time and its good to see how much progress everyone is making.

Wow you must be busy with a new hob, so are doing great to run so regularly without the program to give you structure. Sounds like a perfect plan - building up those muscles before heading to 10k, strong and ready to smash it! Good luck with the new job too.
