C25K and my laziness

I joined healthunlocked after week9, on and off since then, completed a 52km walk in 2018, 10k event in 2019, half in March 2020.

Still super lazy and occasional junk food, frequent overeating, a lot to work on.

Signed up for 50km charity walk in September 2020.

I still walk one mile before I start the c25k audio, so far no complications from the runs.

The reason I bothered to type, I took inspiration from this site in late 2016, I would like to say Thank you.

Thanks for posting... you’ve achieved a lot in running, walking and no doubt other ways too. I can’t imagine 52km walks at the moment, but have been looking into 50k runs as I’m beginning to think they may suit me more than a marathon.

There may still be things you’re working on... but that’s ok, we are all on very long journeys, and we will hit all our goals in due time. I’m still susceptible to the occasional bit of junk eating, but these days I tend to work out how much running I’ll need to be doing before I have it 🤣

Welcome to the forum, even though you know it so well already. Happy running (and walking)

Good to hear that you are still running and walking, and long distances too! I really enjoy walking but doing this C25K in lockdown has given me a purpose, and a goal to aim for. So important when many days are like Groundhog Day!
